TROEF Buurtenergie in Quatrebras Quartier I
In 2019, the sustainable homes in Quatrebras Quartier I in Badhoevedorp are completed. At this moment, participation in TROEF Buurtenergie is possible for the residents of this neighborhood. We connect houses with solar panels to houses without solar panels in this neighborhood. For this, we use energy that is normally supplied back to the existing energy grid. In this way, houses without solar panels can use the solar energy leftover from houses with solar panels in the neighborhood. This is beneficial for both houses wíth and without solar panels.

TROEF Buurtenergie in Quatrebras has started. As we are eager to grow the community, it is still possible to sign up!
In order to be able to connect the houses to each other and to make your energy consumption and generation transparent, a connection is made with your smart meter. The connection with your smart meter is made through a gateway. This is a box with which your smart meter is read. The gateway has a value of 200 euros. When you participate in TROEF Buurtenergie, you will receive this gateway for free!

Participation in TROEF Buurtenergie gives you insight into the moments when you can best use energy. For example, when the sun is shining or when there is little demand for energy nearby. The TROEF Buurtenergie dashboard gives you up-to-date insight into when you use energy, where your used energy comes from and where your generated energy goes. This allows you to use energy more efficiently.

At TROEF Buurtenergie we discover, together with you, what the needs and possibilities are
to make your home and the neighbourhood more sustainable. We can investigate whether
it is possible to install a neighbourhood battery, which makes it possible to
store locally produced energy in the neighbourhood. Or how you can get the most
out of your heat pump, through the right settings or by smartly controlling
your heat pump, which ensures that energy is used when it is widely available.
Contribute to creating a safe, green and calm neighbourhood
Within TROEF Buurtenergie you will have the opportunity to play the TROEF Buurtenergie game. In this game you can easily collect points by using your energy in a sustainable manner. You can spend these points together with your neighbours on something that contributes to the neighbourhood. Together you decide what you want to save for.
For residents of a home with solar panels
Do you have a sustainable home with solar panels? Then by participating in TROEF Buurtenergie you will gain insight into where your generated solar energy is going. In the dashboard you can see how much of your generated solar energy has been used by yourself or by your neighbors, and which part has been returned to the energy grid. This gives you up-to-date insight into whether your local renewable solar energy is actually used locally. If you also have a heat pump, you can see how much energy this uses. Within TROEF Buurtenergie we are investigating whether we can also control your heat pump in a smart way. As a result, your heat pump uses less energy, but still offers the same comfort.
